The original Japanese score from the classic Sonic the Hedgehog game, newly remastered and pressed on vinyl for the first time!SONIC CD (also known as Sonic the Hedgehog CD) was originally released in 1993 for SEGA’s Mega-CD system. Based around a unique time travel concept, SONIC CD is the most non-linear of the classic Sonic games and the music, composed by Naofumi Hataya and Masfumi Ogata, brilliantly reflects the shifting tones and alternate paths of the game. The score accompanied both the Japanese and European versions of the game, but was subsequently re-written (by different composers) for the US release.This remastered edition of the original Japanese score is presented as a triple 180g vinyl LP in a heavyweight single pocket sleeve, with a newly arranged track list based around the game’s various“Time Zones,” to provide a different listening experience from previous versions. I wish these had the unused bridge parts. I assume they aren't here due to them being too low quality sounding, or Hataya and Ogata (if he's even still alive) don't have the original files anymore for higher quality versions.

The quality is fine, but going by this track, it won't include the unused bridge parts for looping like the 2011 version of the game did. Which is an absolute shame in all honesty as I believe they looped in a better fashion.

The quality is horrible. The original Japanese game disk has far better quality and none of these tracks seem to include any parts that hasn't been heard before.

The quality is great! Will this remastered score also have those unused bridge/transition tracks found in early versions of Sonic CD used to mask looping for CD loading that the 2011 remaster uses in select tracks?
